How it works
The pen holds a small coil and a magnetic plunger. Each pulse from the controller drives the plunger forward and a spring returns it, so the needles move in a straight line at an even rhythm. A ring near the tip sets how far the needles extend, from 0.25 to 2.5 mm.
A pressure switch inside the pen keeps it still until the tip is pressed to the skin. Lift the pen and it stops. The controller holds the electronics, which keeps the pen slim and light, and gives room for a proper dial and a colour screen.

Cartridges
Each cartridge is sealed and used once. Replacement cartridges come in packs of 10.
Care
Turn the dial back to zero, remove the used cartridge and wipe the pen body down. The pen and controller are not waterproof.
